Our distiller is justifiably excited by being able to snap up this cask. We will get it filled and then wait and wait and …. we’ll you get the idea.
Besides being a much awarded whisky Old Forester is the oldest continually bottled bourbon and the aroma in this cask is amazing.

Of the 3 I’ve toured - Michter’s, Evan Williams, and Old Forester - I think Michter’s is my favorite so far. It’s not a terribly high bar though, so I’m looking forward to Angels Envy, Rabbit Hole, and beyond.

Completed my 3rd tour of the Bourbon Trail at Old Forester. Wasn’t a huge fan, but the 1910 Extra Extra Old was pretty good.
