Synthetic DreamscapesA Quick Matrix-1000 service tonight. This one got a new battery, Tauntek’s excellent 1.20 firmware update (with permission!) and some repairs to the display. Finally - reloaded the factory patches and calibrated the DAC DC offset. Done!
I did change the battery in the end, had to undo the entire PCB and five power transistors from their heat sink, desoldered the original battery and fitted a CR2032 socket and it’s back together now
