#Introduction
Hi, this is a backup account first, in case my instance isn't available and people who are not in direct contact with me daily would need to find about it (there is no such users at the moment though).

I use Linux and Unixen for about 20 years, and run a server for my projects with SmartOS since somewhen in 2012 (at first at OVH, then at Hetzner).

I contribute to different OSS projects whenever I could, and recently I was honoured to help to establish the OpenIndiana/illumos Association - #OIDA

Also on topic of this instance:
my own istance is a small one, but it runs fully under the #SmartOS hypervisor on a bare metal server, splitted into a few LX zones (for ruby processes - puma and sidekiqs) and a few natives ones (postgres, redis, etc).
It is a third iteration of the setup since 2022 - back then it was possible to run everything in natives zones.
