Google Pixel「Now Playing」クイック設定タイル登場

2026 年 3 月中旬辺りに、Google Pixel デバイス向け楽曲認識機能「Now Playing」の「クイック設定タイル」が登場。「クイック設定タイル」から「Now Playing」による楽曲認識を実行可能に。おそらくは、2026 年 3 月 10 日（火）に配信された「Android System Intelligence」アプリ B.22.881782647 アップデート後に登場。

ついに「この曲なに？」スタンドアロンアプリ「Now Playing」が、「Google Play ストア」に登場。アイコンや UI がリニューアル。現時点では「Android ベータプログラム」に登録していて「Android 17 Beta」を適用している Google Pixel デバイスにしかインストールできない模様。

Google Pixel デバイス実装の「この曲なに？（Now Playing）」において、「デフォルトの音楽プレイヤー」として設定できる音楽アプリが大幅に拡充。「Apple Music」「Deezer」なども選択可能に。「Amazon Music」「SoundCloud」「Tidal」「Pandora」「iHeartRadio」「Gaana」「JioSaavn」「Audiomack」「SiriusXM」も追加対応予定。
