After a pretty miserable travel day--let's just say that Italian trains don't exactly run on time like French trains, we missed our connection and ended up on a commuter train to Nice, where we thought there was going to be a riot upon arrival. High-speed rail from Pompeii to Florence today. Man, the United States really needs to step up our public transportation. Doing 168mph on a train is pretty cool.
