A day out back in my old office with Moray. Our old office, because Moray usually came to work with me.

Hot hazy sunshine above an inversion. Lurcher's Crag and the Northern Corries to Cairn Gorm. I used to be up here several times a week, now love just wandering without any particular objectives.

Happy Old Year's Day, Happy Hogmanay, and Happy New Year when it comes.

Another walk with Moray to do a path survey yesterday, this time the path along the Northern Corries rim in the Cairngorms. Ended up going up Cairn Lochan three times, as there was a bit of a maze of paths, so wasn't sure which one was the official one - which is an issue in itself. Then came back out over Lurchers Crag. Much hotter and sunnier then I expected from the forecast.
