Jusqu’à présent, ce système constituait une intrusion totalement disproportionnée dans notre #vieprivée. Les plateformes scannaient des millions de messages privés de citoyens innocents sans aucun soupçon raisonnable
Grâce à cet amendement, la position du Parlement s’oriente désormais vers une approche ciblée. La surveillance ne devrait s’appliquer qu’aux communications des personnes suspectées & uniquement avec 1 autorisation judiciaire
Ce vote est historique puisqu’il met fin au scan massif et non ciblé des discussions privées

Wenn in Kürze die Entscheidung fällt, ob Europa eine verpflichtende Chatkontrolle bekommt, ist auch die Haltung der Bundesregierung maßgeblich. Doch der Digitalminister mag sich lieber nicht positionieren. Digitale Weichenstellungen und gefährliche Formen technisierter Massenüberwachung sieht er offenbar nicht als sein Metier. Eine Einordnung.

BrianIf Chat Control ever passes it's going to make me spend less time online probably. I wouldn't want communications between me and others to have a backdoor (Who would?). I can chat with others freely without having the government involved analyzing every single thing I'm saying. It would maybe make Europe less privacy-friendly than America which is a joke. Important to mention that, obviously, when one backdoor exists, even if we falsely assume whatever is going on with it is just, that is still a backdoor and a really easy way to get access to people's data if you want it, without even learning how to break code. All that's needed is a single employee granting access, willingly or through social engineering or even by being threatened. And you just know some countries are drooling at the thought of getting such private data, imagine how easy that would make manipulation. Voter manipulation by politicians working for a third country would be worse than it is now. Don't allow Chat Control. If anyone cares about children —which seems to be the main reason for Chat Control— then that person would do the most basic thing of being vegan, not supporting the violation of non-human animals' rights, who are children themselves. But Chat Control is just a weak excuse for getting into the private lives of citizens. Oh, but don't worry, politicians and the military will get an exception?????
