When the sun is out I am running the household, charging batteries, AND selling excess to the grid. On a sunny day the batteries are charged by 1pm and they start to discharge and handle the house load after 5pm, reaching 50% by late evening. Then I start pulling from the grid again, but by then I'm in bed asleep, minimal power use.

With the money saved, maybe I can go visit the Temple of Ra: https://www.livescience.com/ancient-egyptian-sun-temple-discovered.
