Local food bank needed a decent desktop computer at their warehouse. This is all donated hardware revived with #linux #nixbook

More proof that #linux #nixbook is completely usable by normal, non technical folks.

I recently donated 10 Nixbooks to a local community college that had a group of under privileged students that really needed computers.

These were non technical folks with no training whatsoever. Some didn't even speak fluent English. And yet the feedback has been amazing from it.

Thank you to all the #openSource heros that make this possible. And to #nixos for making one hell of a base

I've been messing about with #nixbook on MacBook Air (2014). I've tried, with great success so far, Toshy for remapping keyboard to match macOS shortcuts and keyboard commands. This weekend I'm gonna see if I can get it to work on #nixos. Somehow I doubt I'll have much luck.
