This week, I had an opportunity to chat with Melbourne Lord Mayor Nick Reece, about the importance of supporting community television and ensuring that people with disability are included and represented in the media.

We talked about how vital it is to fund inclusive media programs that give disabled creatives, storytellers, and journalists a real platform to be seen and heard.

Community TV has always been a voice for the people and with the right support, it can continue breaking barriers and amplifying diverse stories across Melbourne and beyond.

Here’s to a future where media truly reflects the community it serves.
