Welcome! You are invited to join a meeting: Resist and Build Gathering -- The Build & Fight Formula. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the meeting.

Kali Akuno of Cooperation Jackson will outline the "Build and Fight" Formula as a methodology for building eco-socialism from below through the self-organized activities and institutions of the working class and oppressed people. Build & Fight emphasizes both building autonomous, cooperative institutions and simultaneously engaging in organized resistance against oppressive systems. It is an effort to propose “Practices of Maneuver” based on the objective reality of what we have: horizontal, distributed networks, mutual aid, and plenty of strong, local organizing. The challenge is that they aren’t connected, so our efforts are scattered. We need to look at reality of what we’re doing and figure out how to aggregate/connect these existing practices to meet basic needs. This process can also help identify-- and close-- gaps. The basic elements: Free the Land Mutual Aid Food Sovereignty Community Production Self-Defense People's Assemblies The General Strike Democratize the Economy
