40 years ago, the world came together to reverse the ongoing depletion of the ozone layer. The Vienna Convention was the starting point, and the Montreal Protocol provided the legal framework to phase out 99% of ozone-depleting substances. The main culprit was F-gases used in refrigerators, for example.

We think it's a great example of how common goals can lead to common action, even in difficult times!
