I love the lines and the chimneys on this terrace of Victorian townhouses on Millbrae Crescent on the Southside of Glasgow. They were built in 1876, a year after the death of Alexander 'Greek' Thomson, by his former business partner Robert Turnbull, which explains their strong Thomsonesque design.

The Oaks on Newlands Road on the Southside of Glasgow. Built around 1905, this B-Listed villa has an interesting mix of Arts and Crafts features. I particularly like the stone tower of bow windows on the left hand side.

Saint Margaret's Episcopal Church on Kilmarnock Road on the Southside of Glasgow. Designed by Peter MacGregor Chalmers in an unusual mix of Scots, German and neo-Romanesque styles in 1895. However, construction wasn't started until 1908, and the last section, the tower, wasn't completed until 1935.
