Maggie MaybeWell there it is. The last of the wet food my cat will eat now has scallop flavor in all the chicken varieties.
He stopped eating the chicken flavor out of the last combo box that I bought, but the chicken and cheese is fine. So tonight I went to go by just chicken and cheese, the new packages look different so I looked at the label:
SCALLOP FLAVOR!! (My cat is allergic to seafood. He has IBD and it causes him major problems.)
I suppose it’s just as well I stop buying them as I don’t trust them to not sell the diseased meat to the pet food producers. And these are EXPENSIVE. So far he can still eat the cooked freeze dried chicken treats & he enjoys catnip.
But 😭 do I wean him off them by giving him one every other day or every couple days? He usually gets his chicken treats upstairs but I could put them in the container I keep the Churu in and give him some at feeding time. 😭😭
