Some sort of parasite wasp, Netelia sp.

There were dozens of these bright orange wasps on a plant - any time I'd move they'd all take off, fly around, then land and become ridiculously hard to spot despite their bright orange colour. Having my 6yo with me "helping" didn't make photographing one any easier.
