It's cool, everyone, I think we can give the benefit of the doubt to the people currently populating a conservative movement originally galvanized around a specific intent to roll back the Enlightenment and subjugate uppity lowborns to their proper role as servile plebs and cannon-fodder for an unquestioned and unaccountable sovereign that now, in 2024, they don't want that in spite of that being the actual, aggressively bullhorned crux of their philosophy.
