Alias “Pescado” and the Two Generals Who Protect Him
The Eastern Guerrilla Front (FGO), commander–in–chief Manuel Vasquez Castao, of the National Liberation Army (ELN), greets the people of Arauca, Casanareno and Boyacense, and informs: The Front, complies with the definitions of the policy and the orientation of the Central Command and the National Directorate. The political solution is a definition ratified by the Sixth Congress of the organization; we have fulfilled what was agreed with the government of President Petro, regarding the participation of society, on economic withholdings and on the ceasefire that went until August 3, 2024.
The Eastern War Front, assumed the extension not to act offensively until August 23, but the generals Brigadier General, Walther Adrian Giraldo Jiménez; head of the Eighth Division of the Army and Brigadier General Javier Hernando Africano Lopez, Commander of the Task Force Quiron based in Pueblo Nuevo, fell like a ring to the finger the order of the Minister of Defense (peace and war), because he was waiting for the date of August 3 to show off the end of the cease–fire and order total offensive against the ELN. What the Minister does not say is that his Army and Police who lead, in the southwest, in Algeria, Corinth, El Naya, Valle, El Choc, South Bolivar, Arauca, Casanare and Boyac, openly protect and conduct the mercenary plan against the insurgency, in conjunction with paramilitarism and ex–farian gangs.
The ELN does not lie, the war fronts live and confront the counterinsurgency plan of the Armed Forces of Colombia (FFAA) and the para–state, at the same time the people have to suffer the rigor of the war, the lowness of the Army running over and subjecting at will to the communities, as if they had no control or direction. The degradation of the war is due to the already pointed out, its garrisons lend themselves to events such as what happened in the path of El Progreso, municipality of Rondon, where they rape a humble peasant woman in front of her children and husband. In the efficient media of the region, these aberrant facts are not reported.The offensive actions of the FGO, are maintained against the narco–paramilitary mercenary band of Pescado, which coexists and operates together with the allies of the institutionality in the vicinity of the caserio de Santo Domingo, via El Sobaco in the sector of La Pucalada. Since July, our operational units have removed the Pescado Band from their lairs, which were protected by the Army for three 3 years.
On the 28th of July, in the path of Siberia 2, La Lagrima y los Ranchones was attacked at 10 am, a camp of Pescado, which had bunker house and external trenches. There 3 helicopters arrive in 10 minutes, fly over the combat area and land, also arrive by land to rescue Pescado. In the development of the fight 3 fighters, among them a minor, responding to the names of: Adriana Martinez Garavito or Karol (16 years), Oswaldo Alejandro Cortes Ropero or Felipe and Alias Melany. We recovered 3 rifles 1 AK and 2 M-4, 1 armored and destroyed tractor and plenty of logistics. After the retreat and rest our units were attacked by the Army in the sector of Versailles (violating the Ceasefire), causing us a death and the loss of a rifle and a vest.
Since the last days of July, Pescado and his gang are concentrated in the sector of La Poguelada, 7 kms from the barracks of Santo Domingo. The Army reinforces the security of Pescado with patrols, tanktas and on permanent flights of aviation. On August 12, our units hold combat from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the sector of La Poguelada, with the band of Pescado. There 2 comrades and 5 wounded, 6 rifles were lost. Our troops retake the site of combat and our casualties. At 4:00 pm, 4 trips in 4 Army helicopters, accompanied by 2 bomber planes and the location. That day in combat with the Army, we had one wounded before the landing where the combat went, there were already Army patrols in: bridge Cao Verde vereda Fareda at 4 kms, La Vaquera next to Santo Domingo at 6 kms, on the road next to La Poguelada 3 kms, Army tanktas in the Santo Domingo via Nuevo 6 kms. That day in fighting with the Army, we had one wounded before the landing where the combat went, there were already Army patrols in: bridge Cao Verde path Fareda at 4 kms, La Vaquera next to Santo Domingo at 6 kms, on the road next to La Pueblo 3 kms, Army tanks in the hamlet of Santo Domingo via Pueblo Nuevo at 6 kms. Falling in the afternoon, 3 tanks enter the place of the confrontation and leave via Cao Verde, evacuating the casualties of the band of Pescado.
On the 13th of August there are more landings where Atanasio, El Sobaco, Costas del Cubiloto, La Pocalada, Mate Coco, Lagrima.We invite the media of Caracol and RCN spokespeople of the criminal FFAA of the State, to verify the feats of peace, which promote the stateless Army of our martyred Colombia.
