It's kind of sad reading this article and thinking, yes, we used to have a world-leading curriculum here in NZ that was headed in the right direction of core competencies and student agency, and now... we are in a time warp back to the 50s, thanks to Erica Stanford and co. sigh.

After a lot of digging around, I've finally worked out what the assessment levels / grades mean in relation to the #NZCurriculum. If your child sits an assessment of learning (i.e. not an NCEA or related exam), then this is how the grades work.
