Used to live in Arizona, was always a #NHLCoyotes fan. So sad to see them go.
Last night's game was bittersweet, a 5-2 win over the #oilers
But what was truly moving was the post-game ceremonies and commentary by the TV staff. In particular, please watch the clip with #ToddWalsh. It was incredible.
I'll truly miss the excellent color commentary by #TysonNash.
Will miss them all.

There is a tiny sliver of light for #NHLCoyotes fans this morning. I'm hearing that there's a clause in the sale that says the Phoenix ownership group has a five year window to build a new rink at which time they would be considered for an expansion franchise.

I am almost 100% positive that a deal to move the #NHLCoyotes is done. You can always tell by schedule leaks. The first leak that the #NHLJets were returning was a leak of the Kelowna young stars tournament schedule in April of 2010. It predated (Stephen) Brunt day by a few weeks. Someday I'll do a thread on the lore surrounding the move. I was obsessed at the time and had developed many information sources. I'm still good friends with Darren Ford. #HNOM

There was a time 13 years ago when I was an expert on all things Glendale Arizona. True North Sports and Entertainment (current Jets ownership) where poised to bring the Coyotes (original Jets) back to Winnipeg and came with a hair of doing so. Following that story closely educated me on all the corruption and graft surrounding the NHL's Arizona franchise. If the Coyotes are truly finished today my feeling is, its about time.. #HNOM #NHLCoyotes
