They go into 1st place in the NFC at 12-3. The Rams are in 2nd place at 11-4 & the Niners are in 3rd at 10-4.
Niners have a chance to tie the Rams for 2nd at 11-4 if they beat the #Colts this coming Monday.
The Seahawks also cinched a playoff spot by beating the Rams & the Niners can too by beating the Colts. If so, the Niners, Rams & Seahwaks will all be in the playoffs.
The loss for the Rams puts them in the 5th NFC playoff spot & the Niners remain in 6th ahead of #GreenBay at 9-4-1.
Niners & Rams have 1 win against each other this season but I don't know how the tie breakers work for them in the NFC West or Playoff standings beyond that.
More importantly, there's still a chance that the Niners can take over 1st place in the NFC West by beating the Colts, Bears and then the Seahawks in the final game of the season.
