#3GoodThings @3goodthings
Three good things today.

1. Even though I don't have internet, I still have power. Considering that the #nbnco page claims that the #NBNoutage is due to a "power outage", while the electricity website declares that there aren't any power outages in the area, not to mention that my neighbours lights are on and the street lamps are working... I think the NBN people are telling a little fib - but I'm still glad that I have power.
2. The chemist had Trulicity!
3. Old Gold Espresso Affogato chocolate; I discovered its existence today. Very nice.

NBN outage. Since 6AM, and it is now noon. What a pile of excrement.

I see NBNCO (Australia) have signed a deal with Amazon to use their low earth orbit shell to replace the SkyMuster service.

How many satellites does Amazon have in orbit? 78 and plans to launch 80+ more!!! Wow.

How many does Starlink have? 8075 (operational)

A full week of #NBNCo "planned maintenance"

How I'm supposed to work during this time is anyone's guess.

It's now 6hrs since #NBNCo outage. Just received a text saying the issue is resolved.

I CAN ASSURE YOU, IT IS NOT.

This is absolutely ludicrous. Is this because I made a complaint to the Minister for #NBN?? Friends in the same area aren't having issues.

Now 3.5hrs.

I needed to finish some work today, but no.

#NBNCo

Two hours of unplanned #NBNCo outage so far today.

Oh, and a planned outage all day tomorrow. That's in addition to the all-day planned outage they had on Monday.

And not forgetting the FULL WEEK planned outage starting next Thursday.

What is it that I'm actually paying for?

So, an hour later I get a text saying...and I click on the link for more info, and I get...
#NBNCo #TPG

So, #NBNCo "planned maintenance":

30 June 7am-3pm - unable to work for most of the day

4 July 7am - 3pm - not working, but unable to access internet for most of the day

10 July - 16 July (yes, a full week) 7am to 7pm - won't be able to work for several days and unable to access internet for most of the day for 7 days.

What is going on with #NBNCo to require THIS MUCH maintenance?

So, apparently....

NBNCo planned maintenance in your area will occur between 7AM - 7PM from 10/07/25 to 16/07/25.

That's 12 hours per DAY for 7 days.

How am I meant to work during this full week of no internet?

Of course, you can't contact #NBNCo you have to contact your provider, who tell you it's not their issue, it's....yes, well.

I don't have a work phone so I won't hotspot from my personal phone as I don't have a large data plan.

It's twenty fcken twenty five & we have this shite.
