For this painting I combined my love for painting and my love for old things (although as someone with a degree in archaeoloy I don't consider the Late Bronze Age as that old, it's all a matter of perspective 😂 ).
I had the privilege to visit an exhibition on Mycene a few years ago with one of my profs who's specialized in the Bronze Age Agean as the guide. Seeing archeological objects in person is always an amazing experience.
