#MyYearInMiniatures October
@Berit announces #Fedipaint competition for October and I decide to dedicate the month to a single model to try my hand at display painting. This month I didn't post much so I didn't spoil the surprise of my entry. I practiced all sorts of concepts on this WizKids Slaad. I am so happy with how my Giant Squig turned out and it was a huge confidence boost.

I work quickly to get my second squad of Berserkers together so I can play Combat Patrol with a friend. Ended up having a painting session with a coworker at the office. By the end of the month I have my combat patrol fully built and I have a mostly painted squad of Jakhals.

I am learning to pull off higher contrast zenithals and just speed paint/glaze over them to get amazing results. I'm moving faster and need more painting handles so I can rotate between drying time. Start building my second squad of Berserkers with resin cast bases from Gamers Grass to speed up my base building workflow. Getting close to having a Combat Patrol built.
#MyYearInMiniatures July
Work had been high intensity for a while now. We were close to shipping the new product, I know the routine. I uninstall all social media and Reddit to stop the doom scrolling. I find my fellow nerds on Warhammer.social this month and go turbo mode with my building and painting. I print and prime a little starter set for a coworker who wants to try miniature painting. By the end of the month I have multiple completed minis on my "Done" shelf.
