What? How does adding PII make anyone safer? If this statement is not an outright fabrication, it does demonstrate a failure of Musixmatch since they describe Curators as "the most passionate and active community members, hand-selected by the Musixmatch internal team based on the merit of their contributions" (emphasis mine). Creating a safer and fairer environment for Curators is the job of moderation. Government ID is not moderation.

I don't know if this year was better or worse than last year. My activity was probably higher than last year, though..

I said my (well, not really) final goodbyes to #Musixmatch (somewhat around the start of school) and instead went out to be #MusicBrainz editor. I kinda got bored with being lyrics curator on Musixmatch, which isn't a bad idea either way, but I found adding music metadata more fun than lyrics. .w.
Also started using #ListenBrainz this year to record my listening history.
