They're not exaggerating at all… every single one of those featured albums is just plain fantastic. You could just buy all of them and be sorted for the next months!
"This was a monster month of new releases. […] I could fill two columns with March recs and still omit some truly good music. So, I encourage you to browse the #jazz new releases section on your own, too, because you’re likely to stumble into what might be your next new favorite album."

I'm really liking this Welsh harpist/singer/composer Cerys Hafana. This video was my gateway drug.

I've got this album on my Bandcamp wishlist and will probably end up with lots of her music.

Although I've mostly been making electronic music lately, I'm gravitating toward acoustic music with a very in-a-room feel, particularly music that evokes a bit of that ancient feeling. She is making some very nice, very human sounds.

got a recommendation to listen to Casa das Máquinas. really cool narrative prog with some super trippy filters on their instruments. really like "Lar de Maravilhas"

also...dig these dudes' fits like holy shit
very cool rare vinyl find today! Jasper Wrath's self titled 1971 album. it's really groovy, cerebral listen, and the first half of the album has a lot of tracks that experiment with folk sounds (there are a few really amazing flute solos). 2nd half of the album is more pure prog. my favorite track is called "Odyssey" (there's a lot of really hypnotic harmonizing on this track...fun 12 minute trip). give this underrated prog album a listen if you're into this genre or just want to listen to different music
Looking for songs that radiate twink energy to get in the zone for my next DnD. Would prefer a vibe that gives the impression that the singer has never once left the Onceler BMI. Any recommendations?
Look, I get into character by listening to songs that I think my character would relate to. Thats what works for me; this 🏳️🌈 character is just waaay outside of my normal range.
