So what would it take to form a Cooperative Legal entity that competed with Bandcamp? Musicians, individually and in bands, orchestras and groups or choirs, could be members as well as publishers; staff would be members and there's no particular reason that customers could not be members.
That doesn't prevent staff organising as a union of course but cooperatives are usually pleasanter places for everyone.
