I'm still packing and tossing stuff away for my upcoming move.

I've found another stash of greeting cards and love letters from my ex-wife. I didn't even remember having these.

I've tossed them away.

What's the point of keeping them? As proof that we loved each other? I know this, and no amount of old letters is going to change this.

Impermanence reigns supreme.

In other news, I've found my hearing aid!

Okay, the fact that it had been lost for years should clue you into the fact that I didn't use it even when I knew where it was.

I'm going to promptly forget about it again.

Yesterday, @Julz and I went to check out an apartment similar to the one I'm going to move into. It wasn't *exactly* the same, but it gave us a good idea of the layout.

I knew I was making the right choice with that apartment, but the apartment and the neighborhood itself kinda "decayed" in my brain, and I was a little nervous about my choice.

Seeing an apartment similar to mine again reassured me.

I also was able to ascertain that the den has a door. This will allow me to make my office there and to make the extra bedroom a... ahem... kink room. 😏

(It is most likely going to be a multipurpose room... among which there's going to be kink...)

I'd like to say that my upcoming move (two weeks from now) is going to be a poor individual's move.

But I can't.

Oh, I ain't rich, but I blew this notion when I bought boxes. 😱 I tried to get boxes for free, but those that I could find were in jurisdictions where I don't want to go, too far, too messy, etc. The clock was ticking, and so I bought boxes so that I could start packing.

Maybe we can call it a reasonable individual's move. After all, I'm not asking anyone to do packing for me... so I don't have to pay for this work.

Maybe we can also call it an ingenious individual's move. I've never done this before, but I'm now repurposing my empty granola bar boxes, and my breakfast cookie boxes to hold smaller stuff. Then I put these boxes into the bigger moving boxes.

Here's a picture of a granola bar box full of Raspberry Pis.

(Actually, for my previous moves I did repurpose plastic yogurt containers to hold loose change and things of the sort.)

"Pfft! Old news. I've done this forever."

I know. I'm slow. 😭
