Tired: rooster crowing
Wired: mockingbird, hyped up on industrial strength espresso, running through an aftermarket car alarm's litany of siren songs
Not complaining! I like it.

"It's gonna take a lot of love
To change the way things are
It's gonna take a lot of love
Or we won't get too far..."
#LottaLove sung by #NicoletteLarson was written by #NeilYoung (who recorded his own version)

"What about the time you were rollin' over
Fall on your face, you must be having fun
Walk lightly, think of a time
You'd best believe this thing is real
Put away that gun, this part is simple
Try to recognize what is in your mind
God help us, help us to surmise
These slippery people help us understand..."

Bark at the Moon! Ozzy! Now, that's not something I've been listening to lately.
The great, bloody and bruised veil of the world
The great, bloody and bruised veil of the world
The great, bloody and bruised veil of the world
The great, bloody and bruised veil of this world
Well, it seems like my mind is finished processing Alice in Chains and In Gowan Ring (which it was playing again yesterday morning) for now, and that Current 93 takes over. I played that CD 3 days ago. I'm starting to see a pattern.

Another one from Dirt today, namely the one before the title track: Junkhead

And today: Alice in Chains - Dirt
I've been listening a lot to Dirt (the album) lately, especially in the mornings, so it all make sense. But not yesterday.
I usually wake up with a song on my mind. Most of the time, it's a song I've listened to recently, but usually not the day before. I also feel that it is often something other than the clearest "hit song" of the particular album, which I find rather interesting.
Today, a very calming and beautiful song: In Gowan Ring - The Wind that Cracks the Leaves
Every morning begins with a song — not from a clock, but from a feathered soul perched against the sunrise.
How lucky we are to wake up to such music.
