So, European settlers and traders in NZ were apparently digging up and selling the skeletons of Moriori people as curios. The good thing is, in 2022, we figured out this was not A Good Thing(TM) and agreed we probably should give them back.

At last, these people are back in their home islands, with respect and dignity.
