But as the makjang elements build, a stark difference with #MoneyFlower stands out. That #kDrama was basically pure makjang, but it was QUIET. Very little shouting, screaming, hair-pulling etc. This one's makjang elements are much more noisy

Not wall to wall shouting and screaming just insanely complicated plotting and the near-total absence of a moral compass. When it's well-written and well-acted, as here, it's outrageously addictive

For connoisseurs of the genre who might sneer at a mere 24 episode appetizer, I recommend the 68 episode #BandOfSisters aka #UnniIsAlive - From the opening frame, the first 10 minutes or so are like 1000% concentrated extrait de makjang très forte, an unapologetic heads up for what follows
