Happy Halloween!
Here's my last #inktober drawing for this year, inspired by the #Microber2021 prompt 'Monstrous'.
Wow! Only one more day left in this year's #inktober!
Today's #Microber2021 prompt is 'Conjugation'.
Today's #Microber2021 prompt is "Adhesion". So many possibilities! I went with an abstract model of cellular adhesion molecules. That's quite a rabbit hole of fascinating molecular structures, but I tried to keep it simple.
Today's #Microber2021 prompt is 'Competition'. I went abstract, as usual.
Today's #Microber2021 prompt is "Transposons". These cool little DNA moleceluces 'jump' around. When they 'land' in the middle of a gene, they can disrupt the expression of that gene.
I wrote more about this drawing on my Patreon
Today's #Microber2021 prompt is zoonotic, and it's been raining a lot here in San Francisco, so I decided to draw raining covid particles for today's #inktober drawing.
Today's #Microber2021 prompt is 'Antibiotic'. I went with an abstraction of a pattern that will be very familiar to a few of my fans (in microbiology).
Today's #Microber2021 prompt is "Persistance", and I took a little more time than usual to think about what to draw. I wrote about it on my Patreon.
Today's #Microber2021 prompt is "Plasmid". These cool little double stranded rings of DNA are most commonly found in bacteria. I've gone with some abstract plasmids next to chromosomal DNA in today's drawing.
