Finding inspiration in some of my early drawing while working on today's #inkyDays drawing. Looking back, I only had a few inks to play with for a long time. I'm feeling very lucky to have to many inks to play with now, but the color constraints really helped me develop my voice in ink early on.

I've been doing these daily #inkyDays drawings for a long time. Currently in my 9th year, of drawing every day and sharing it online.
I keep thinking that I should do something special for getting to 10 years. So, I've started scanning all of them. Yeah, it's gonna take me a long time.
But today, I scanned my very first version of my 'comforting floral' pattern. Back in 2018.
Yet another smotheringly hot day, here in San Francisco, and I'm feeling like I'm going to melt away. So I'm thinking about little lizards sun bathing, and somehow enjoying it, for today's #inkyDays drawing.
