The post-apocalyptic giant mural at Brunswick Civic Square. With a dead No 19 tram, and bicycle on its side, the wreck of a car. Broken windows in the buildings with vegetation growing out of them. And a big male kangaroo heading down #SydneyRoad to the Town Hall building.
We wonder if this big buck kangaroo is from the #MerribekMob recolonising #Brunswick?

Sadly no people in the mural. Where did you all go? Is this the civilisational collapse from burning greenhouse gases and the #ClimateCrisis and using plastics? Wake up humans. Without you, companion animals like us #chihuahuas won't survive either. It is Past time to live within planetary boundaries, circular economy and all that.

“Another hot day (33C) in Naarm (Melbourne). Dad didn’t venture out until 7pm when some of the heat had dissipated. We visited the #MerribekMob of Eastern Grey Kangaroos, saw a flock of corellas eating the grass seeds, and watched the sunset with Dad.
We hope all our friends had a great Christmas. Don’t give up on kindness but make it a part of your life.“

“After Sunday cafe-sitting Dad cycled us up to Northern Memorial Park where we watched the #MerribekMob of #EasternGreyKangaroos grazing. We held our bark! There were joeys too!
#UpfieldLine train passed.
These are the Roos that inspired Dad to ask questions in 2018 about a Council #Biodiversity Plan. The Council Nature Plan was subsequently developed and approved in 2020. Thanks Dad for making a difference on the #BiodiversityCrisis “
