Merimbula Eat is on again this Sunday (8/3/2026). Dozens of local eateries and food producers line up in marquees along Fishpen and offer portable local food. It's extremely yummy and a very sociable event, though some of the prices are a bit much.

Listening to Dog Stuff at the Twyford in Merimbula. Serious punk energy. The lead singer is channelling Iggy Pop, sprocketing around the stage in plaid stovepipe pants, a yellow t-shirt and Lennon-style sunglasses. Their very first chord hit the 95 decibel venue limit and they have not let up since...

Mostly originals, plus a really banging version of "You Really Got Me". Looking forward to the second half:-)
