So today's dilemma was what needed to be prioritised from the laundry pile.
On Tues I have a medical appointment.
I need to travel on public transport with my small scooter.
It gets very, very cold sitting on a scooter in the winter.
However, the medical staff want to weigh me.
And I need to give them access to my upper arms.
My usual winter wear is a set of long-sleeved, full leg thermal underwear, a top, a cardigan, thick trousers, two pairs of socks - all under thick outerwear.
It weighs too much ... and I am 'overweight' without the extras.
It fully covers my arms with 3 layers after I take off my coat.
Brain exploded on trying to work out what to wash from last week's trips out.

Vlog: How My Surgery Went (And a Brief Polymega Update) - Breaking it all Down

I got through my surgery and the recovery, so it’s time to give my thoughts on how the surgery went, along with a really quick update on the whole Polymega situation.

Quick Site News Note: Upcoming Medical Procedure - Breaking it all Down

As a quick Site news note – I will be undergoing surgery for that lump on the side of my face that you probably have noticed getting gradually larger over the past few months in the middle of March (specifically on the 14th and 15th). Naturally, this will cause some disruption to my stream schedule […]

Breaking it all Down

I had my annual physical today. All appears to be good.

Update from my little corner. The ear infection is definitely easing, if slowly, and it's a week old today. now I've had to change my antibiotic because I have a swollen face and lips. That necessitated ordering a new medicalert disc and updating my records with them in case anything happens. So with all that happening I was up at 10.30ish, rather than my usual 12:00ish. The face feels weird. I dribble when I'm drinking and speaking is a little more difficult, particularly F's and P's. Sippy cup anyone? I have now resorted to drinking my cups of tea with a silicone straw and holding it in the ok-ish corner of my mouth. Our usual family friend got me some live yoghurt and Piriton syrup from asda to help get my digestive system sorted while I'm on the antibiotics and antifungals, andbring down the swelling respectively. She also made cups of tea before she left so I'm feeling rather grateful and glad we have such good people in our lives. #ThankfulThursday #medicalStuff

After 4 months, I am finally able to start taking #Mounjaro again. Between my insurance not wanting to pay for it and simply not being able to find it, I haven't had it since January.

I had forgotten how nasty the first two weeks make me feel I have done nothing but vomit for 24 hours. I feel like crap, but I know from experience that this will pass and I will be fine.

Ugh.

@kura Trying to figure out how to take my temperature without TOUCHING IT...

I've got arthritis in my right knee. In September, I got a cortisone shot and it fixed things for three weeks. Then something shifted in my knee and it felt like I was being stabbed in the leg... for days.
I've just had a second cortisone shot, but this time my leg is swollen and aching from mid-thigh to mid-calf.
If this doesn't help, the only next step is a total knee replacement.
Fuck.
(Right now, I just want my leg to stop aching. Ow.)

Today in unusual #MedicalStuff I see a pt complaint of shoulder pain. Doctor treats pt based on an X-ray from 2000. I know we want to reduce radiation, but I’m wondering if anything at all might have changed in the 22 years since that #imaging #xray #radiology

My body hates me.
I need a liver biopsy.
Also need to see a urologist.
Going to the infectious disease doc.
Blah!
