Seriously, I hope what I’m doing with getting more comfort using the leg support wedge and the closed toe medical shoe helps me heal. Here it’s 9 hours later and I left the new shoe on most of the day. I’m going to have to put the giant boot back on when I go to bed. Boo!

Results: after short spurts of necessary walking changing rooms, I had more time in the recliner and now in the evening lying on the bed. NO pain meds were needed! I hope someone comes on this post and photo for suggestions if stuck wearing a giant medical boot for 1-2 months. Good ideas here if they have a loved one who has to deal with a broken toe. #BrokenToe #MedicalShoe #MedicalBoot #Wedge #Comfort

Relaxing not walking around or standing too long. Stupid broken toe has 2 breaks, not one. So medical boot most of the time. Upgraded today with a cheap closed toe medical shoe to switch with the booth for short periods. I’ve got a minimum of 2 weeks more of this nonsense. New shoe $33 and wedge for leg support $29. Well worth the price.

The wedge for leg support usually used just in bed. It’s 2 parts so you can pull up the Velcro tabs to add or remove the bottom cushion to adjust height. I’m using only the top cushion while in recliner. Got out my very fuzzy socks too. Maybe I won’t need a pain med today!
