Does this strike anyone else as #disingenuous if not outright #misinformation? Granted, the collection of scientific evidence regarding storm frequency may be thin, but that's a very esoteric distinction to make that reinforces a dangerous myth. Climate change is REAL.

This isn't an article on the history of science. This is not a peer reviewed scientific article making specific conclusions. It's an informative piece by the #BBC! If they can't craft better sentences with more clarity and intention, then who can? FFS, tell the truth. Don't mince words. It's shit like this that makes the climate crisis more difficult and dire.
