My wife and I just got home from seeing To Kill a Mockingbird at the Mayflower Theater in Southampton.
The entire cast were given a rousing standing ovation when the curtain fell. It was incredibly well adapted, cast, staged, directed and played. Even an audience member being taken ill which required the play to be paused 20 minutes into the first act didn't detract from the drama in any way.
If you can get to see the production I think you will enjoy it. Of course its as relevant now as it was back when the book was published over 60 years ago.
