Humble ISD board appoints incumbent Ken Kirchhofer as trustee despite his loss in May election
In an announcement about Kirchhofer’s appointment, the Houston-area district said it would have cost an estimated $330,000 to hold a special election and that appointing a trustee required no additional cost. The leading vote-getter in the May 3 election, Brittnai Brown, was declared ineligible.
