So, is it all doom and gloom? Not quite. The Frankfurt School wanted us to use Critical Theory to see through the "glittering surface" of modern life.
The goal isn't to reject reason, but to rescue it from becoming a mere tool for efficiency. To be truly enlightened is to realize that progress isn't a straight line—it’s a constant struggle to stay human in a world of machines. ☕️

@anomnomnomaly Interesting. I’m seeing your post from a small, well-moderated server. Our Fed timeline is probably much smaller than yours, but I’ve never seen pics like that. #MastodonTheory I suspect that the value one gets from an instance’s local and fed timelines is going to be a function of size and user characteristics- particularly some kinds of similarities among users. (Diversity is good, but maybe not in terms of values or intent.)
