Robert Grimm#meta has been releasing transparency reports about their content moderation. Can you trust their data? Not really: Earlier today, I noticed a discrepancy between an older spreadsheet and my latest Pandas-based analysis. I traced it back to Meta silently changing 70 out of 140 measurements for Q4 2020 between the transparency reports for Q2 2022 and Q3 2022. It changed another 70 for more recent quarters as well. I understand Q2 2022 but two years ago? #socialmediagovernance #contentmoderation
