Last weekend I went on a canoe camp with some scouts group and to DTRT, I explained them that we should announce our trips with the Marine Rescue in Sydney Harbour / Botany Bay / Port Hacking.
Because we have canoes, they don't have registration numbers. Because the app insisted on a registration number, I filled in "NONE". It was happy.
On Saturday morning, I tried to logon the tog the trip and was told "You are already logged on in Jervis Bay, do you want to logoff?". Euhmmmm no.
I changed my registration number to MYCANOEEDWIN and..... then the app crashed and I couldn't logon at all anymore.
I contacted the people from Marine Rescue about this and they found out that at least five people this week tried to logon with "NONE" or "NA" this week and they will fix it.
For the not-being-able-to-run-it, I had to delete the app and all data. My canoe is now called "CANOEEDWIN0412345678".
