Changes in accessibility to emergency food services (including food banks) in #HamOnt during #COVID19 (in service locations per low income household).

The closure of facilities during the pandemic led to overall decreases in accessibility, but the losses were worse in relatively deprived central parts of the city, as well as more peripheral regions.

How far would you walk to reach a shared bicycle station?

In research conducted at #McMaster University, we found that the addition of equity stations to the bike share system in #Hamilton, #Ontario, increased horizontal equity (shared bicycles became more accessible for all), but did not substantially increase vertical equity in accessibility to the system.
