The #Malvern Three Counties Showground directions mention that people should ignore their satnavs and follow the posted #brown signs.

I say: Follow your satnavs, people!

You make a godawful mess of the A449 Worcester Road, following your satnavs, bringing it to a total stand-still.

We cognoscenti who follow the signposted route instead and currently whiz along, allowing the Three Counties Showground to be a good neighbour to the locals by directing the show traffic along dedicated back-roads, do not want you doing that to us, the way that we go.

A different lunchtime walk today, on Malvern Link common. It's the last day of cold crisp sunshine, so I thought I'd make the most of it. All within ten minutes walk of my home, and in the middle of a town with a theatre, cinema and a Waitrose. There's a lot to be said for having green spaces (although Malvern is blessed with the hills, and lots of open countryside all around).
