My first day of retirement, and I went for a walk in the afternoon. I'm very familiar with West Malvern, but it's rare I come here at this time of day, and it was quite delightful. These photos were taken just 15 minutes uphill walk from home. I'm lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

#today went to the Embroiderers Guild for the 1st time in months. Figs, cheese and easter chocolates to be had, and some rather adorabuls stuffed fabric animals on display.

Dog = wire topiary, wrapped in wadding then stitched over with fabric.

They have a massive destash open to the public on Anzac day - highly recommend for anything textile related: scissors, fabric, yarn, thread, vintage buttons, patterns, containers, needles, the works.
