I'm slowly working my way through the mountain, pardon the pun, of books stacked beside the bed that I've been accumulating for the past dozen or more years and the latest finished book is this one, "Into the Silence" by Wade Davis. I've read a lot of history books over the years, I'm kinda into that don't you know, and can say, with confidence, this is one of THE best.
