I love #MailMate on #macOS. IMHO the best mail-client ever. I am searching a mail-client for #Linux that shows me (best in #KDE) while I am not using it in a panel unread mails in different folders (like 3 unread counters for 2 Inboxes and 1 folder). With Mailmate I have those as icon badges and in the menu-bar.

Using #MailMaven since a few days and I am very happy with it...much better and more customizable than #Mailmate. #Mailmate is not bad but it had its time. #MailMaven is very flexible and customizable. Best Mail app for Mac

#MailMate, #TextMate, #GitX, #Go (1.20, not any younger) just work using a current version mostly. That makes it a lot easier to get work environment running. Seems the way to go. Only need to fix broken keybindings on #MacPass.

@jwh Yes, and a fabulous app like #MailMate just looks great using the standard Cocoa controls. That’s different today. It looks kinda boring on a modern macOS because there’s so much space left for individual styling, prominent iOS app have today.

I am also a longtime #MailMate user/fan. It was the first macOS MUA since Eudora became untenable that didn't make me want to find a new MUA. Nothing in the past dozen years has made me want to change. The best part of it is the author (Benny Kjær Nielson) who is an active and always helpful participant in the support mailing list.
