Well, I think my old MacPro 2013 finally aged out. A fresh install of Linux Mint will no longer run with stability. Its been a good run.

Time to Frankenstein a pc together out of all my spare parts. Going with the ITX form-factor.

It will be fun. And kinda happy to get rid of my last Apple product.

So, 2nd time I have successfully installed #Gentoo on my #macpro2013 trash can edition. Still no back up, but hoping to get one sorted before I even attempt to install the open source driver for wireless. (For context I broke the install last time and failed to recover)

Gentoo is a lot harder than I was expecting no lie.

I have just updated my #MacPro 6,1 from #macOS #Monterey to #Ventura using #OpenCoreLegacyPatcher. And I must say it's really straight forward! It's like magic 🪄

Amazing how my vintage Mac Pro from 2013 stills up to date! 🎉

Now I can install the latest version of #Xcode ☺️
