Something seems to have gone seriously wrong with the latest versions of Sonoma/MacOS Safari. I was trying to debug my internet connection until I realised I only had connection and speed issues on Safari on my Macbook. And now I'm starting to see more widespread complaints about the same issue from other users online. Back to Firefox I guess.
