When I was working at #USDS and had #GEHA health insurance, I used a telehealth service they offered called #MDLive.
It was a dumpster fire, which I've posted about before.
Here's something I haven't posted about: since I stopped using MDLive, they have without explanation sent me several refund checks.
Most recently, yesterday they sent me two $100 checks. With those, they've now refunded every dollar I ever paid them.
I don't know why, I just shake my head and cash the checks.
More #MDLive shenanigans…
I almost missed an appointment yesterday because the website was so hosed it took me many attempts over ten minutes to successfully log in and connect to the session.
After that my doctor sent a prescription to my pharmacy, and the MD Live web site says it was sent, but the pharmacy never received it.
I just spoke to their offshore call center, which is "escalating to the clinical team." Who knows if they'll fix it before my previous prescription runs out.

Still more #MDLive fuckery…
Furthermore, MDLive is supposed to file claims for my appointments with my health insurance company (#GEHA), but despite the fact that my first MDLive appointment was more than a month ago, according to the #GEHA portal they still haven't filed claims for any of the three appointments.
These guys are absolute 🀑s.
More #MDLive fuckery…
I've had 3 appointments. Their portal claims my card was charged for all 3. In fact it was only charged for 1.
I called them about this and the rep I spoke with basically responded 🀷 nothing we can do about it.
Top-notch business model, there, paying your providers, failing to charge your patients, and then failing to correct the problem when one of your patients points it out!
My health insurance company recommends "MD Live" for telehealth and virtual therapy, and I've therefore recently started using them for therapy. They are so bloody awful that I regularly contemplate stopping the therapy just so that I don't have to deal with MD Live anymore.

Anyone have experience w the #mentalhealth side of #MDLive ?

Pro, it’s free with my benefits.

Con, the level of data sharing between the scrip insurance, health insurance, and the MH professionals is excessive.

No, I do not want to share every single prescription claim I’ve made this year with a mental health provider. Non-MD second guessing my fam doc of a decade? Nope.

Add that both carriers feed into numerous other places…. Not sure I’m ok with that.
